My Elephant@ Happy Mansion, PJ

Talking about Thai food, you shall not miss My Elephant at Happy Mansion. Situated at the housing area, My Elephant is not really got a very strategic place for food BUT they are always FULLHOUSE~ and you even need to book 1st at night in order to get your seat.

I went there twice but unluckily my photos on my 1st visit were all gone due to my hard disc problem. >.< Lunch time choices are limited and it is more on its set lunch promotion. My boss ordered whatever dish that he could order and almost all the ala-carte dishes were ordered by us. :p

PoPiah Tod@ RM8.00
Hand-rolled Thai Spring Rolls Deep Fried to Perfection~

Close up

Tom Yum@ RM10.00
Spicy Galangal-Lemongrass-Lime Soup with Aromatic Herbs & Homemade Red Chili Paste

Seriously, I was totally DISAPPOINTED with the Tom Yum! I can’t feel that it taste like Tom Yum, the taste was so weird. I did not understand cuz my 1st visit was not like that! >.<
Gaeng Keow Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken)
-RM15.00 for small
-RM20.00 for big

Gai Tod Gratiam Prik Thai@ RM14.00
Best-selling Deep Fried Chicken Strips Scented with Kaffir Lime Leaf,
Garlic & Crushed Thai Peppercone

I like this! This was really tasty. The meat was well scented~ Yummy!

Yum Mamuang@ RM10.00
Green Mango Salad with Assorted Seafood and My Elephant’s Secret Chili Dressing

This was cold, taste like a starter. Love the spicy; it mixed well with all the ingredients.

Tod Man Plah@ RM8.00
Classic Deep Fried Fish Cakes

Jasmine Rice + Brown Rice@ RM2.50 per person (refillable)

Mango Mojito@ RM5.00

SourSop Mojito@ RM5.00

Besides Ala-carte, we also ordered one set lunch; it came along with complimentary pandan cooler or krachiap cooler.

Khao Phad Sapparot @ RM8.90
(Pineapple Fried Rice)

Pandan Cooler

Overall, we enjoyed our lunch at My Elephant. Nice food, cozy ambiance and reasonable price.
