Fusion Haven Café & Restaurant 无国界天地

If you want to eat Japanese food, Korean food, Asian food and Western food at the same time, then you must not miss Fusion Haven Café & Restaurant 无国界天地 which is situated at Sri Petaling~! This is the right place for you because they serve a variety of Japanese, Korean, Italian, Western and Chinese cuisines in creative ways. =)

Fusion Mango Salad@RM10.90

For appetizer, we had their signature Fusion Mango Salad. It is served in a basket of crispy batter ringed.

Besides mango, you can find raisins and pumpkin seeds on top. Putting the soft mango and crispy batter together, we couldn't stop ourselves to have more.

Kimuchi Unagi Omelette@RM15.90

Kimuchi Unagi Omelette, another interesting dish that we would like to try as it is a combination of Korean and Japanese food. (As you can see from the name, Kimchi & Unagi ^^) The combination of Japanese sweet sauce and Kimchi in the rice is really tasty.

Warm Heart Chocolate & Ice Cream@RM5.90
(For any meal order, you are entitled this for only RM3.90!)

Last but not least the dessert~! I strongly recommend this Warm Heart Chocolate & Ice Cream - the specialty of Fusion Haven. You might find it very normal but inside the muffin, there is rich hot chocolate! Eating together with the vanilla ice-cream, it really can warm your heart! ^^

It warms one’s heart with its rich chocolate filling

Fusion Haven is really a nice and cozy restaurant that you can't miss out. Affordable price with quality food. =)

Calorie @Sri Petaling

This post is actually combined two times of my visits. Due to working, I always need to go to Sri Petaling and hence I found this restaurant. I was attracted by its name called ‘Calorie’, my instinct told me that the food are healthy~

The Menu

They offer quite a lot of set meals which came along with a free drink: Lemon Sea Coconut, Lemon Longan or Rice Ball.

I ordered Pork Rib with Fish Ball Rice (湖南盅仔饭) and Lemon Sea Coconut.

Lemon Sea Coconut

Pork Rib with Fish Ball Rice (湖南盅仔饭)@ RM10.50

I personally like the pork rib cuz it was very soft and tasty. It will not too salty but just nice!

FT ordered Braised Chicken Drumstick with Egg Rice (金牌卤汁全腿饭) and Lemon Longan.

Lemon Longan

Braised Chicken Drumstick with Egg Rice@ RM10.90

It looked delicious with the drumstick and egg. Nice also~~

That was my 1st visit with FT and the following was the 2nd visit with FT and Carol.

As Carol is a health cautious person, she ordered Calorie’s Vegetable Soup and hot Honey Lemon.

Hot Honey Lemon@ RM2.50

Calorie’s Vegetable Soup@ RM4.80

The soup was really healthy bcuz got lots of vege inside. If you like the original taste of vege soup, you shouldn’t miss this~

FT and I would like to try its famous dish – Pork Chop with Pumpkin. As it was quite big portion, we decided to share one.

Pork Chop with Pumpkin@ RM14.90

Undeniable, that was really tasty. Besides the pork chop and rice, you can eat the whole pumpkin as well! And it was sweet~~

Frankly speaking, the pork chop with pumpkin can really be shared by two people cuz by the time you finish eating the whole pumpkin, you are already full. Unfortunately, FT and I were too rush to order a Calorie Toast before we finish eating the pumpkin and this cause us ended up too full….

Calorie Toast@ RM4.90

3 pieces of breads with ham and cheese inside

The Calorie Toast was not bad. Good try~

Chrysanthemum Flos Honey@ RM2.50

Overall, the food are nice, services are good with reasonable price.

Hong Kong Miu Kai (2nd Visit) @Sri Petaling

Yes, same reason—working, me n FT went to Hong Kong Miu Kai to hv our lunch again. Recommended by other food blog, Miu Kai is famous with its bakery~ and hence I’d like to try out this time.

I chose its most famous one which is Hong Kong Style ‘Po Lo Bao’. The ‘Po Lo Bao’ looked pleasant n nice and most importantly it tasted good =) There was something like custard inside it and the bun is soft with crispy skin~

Hong Kong Style ‘Po Lo Bao’@ RM1.60

Besides, I also ordered Shrimp Dumpling Noodle. My first bite on the Wantan Noodle was like ‘wow, this is really good!’ I found that the wantan noodle is not exactly same as others. It was really nice and tasty ^^

Shrimp Dumpling Noodle(Dry) @RM7.20

FT ordered Braised Pig Shank Noodle. It smelled good when it was served. It is another good choice too~

Capri Dessert@Sri Petaling

Again, I went to Sri Petaling to work and too bad that day I was alone and of course I took lunch alone. I had no idea where to lunch and found out this restaurant which provided set lunch.

Menu

I ordered its set lunch instead of dessert. I chose Otak Fried Rice and the set lunch came with a drink (Mango, Peach or Blackcurrant Tea)and fruits. This set lunch cost me RM9.90+.

Otak Fried Rice

The 'shape' of the fried rice is cute cuz it's a love shape! But I found that the portion was a bit small, the taste was ok.

Peach Tea

Fruits

My set lunch

Overall, I would not say it's good or bad but a common restaurant =)

Hong Kong Miu-Kai@Sri Petaling

This was my 1st time going to Sri Petaling due to work. During lunch time, my colleague brought me to Hong Kong Miu-Kai(香港庙街). I found the name a bit weird in the 1st place, if translated directly, it will be Hong Kong Temple Street and it has no related to food. However, it is more like to Hong Kong Char Chan Teng.

Menu

Interior

The ambience of restaurant is quite nice, I like its cozy feel and the staffs are friendly as well. As we rushed for working, we had to order something served fast.

There was a lunch promotion from 12.00pm to 2.00pm where you can add on drinks with RM1.50 or tong shui with RM2.00.

The choices for drinks & tong shui

I ordered Mushroom Bean Curd Shanghai Noodle. There is a choice for dry or soup and I chose the later. Due to not every tong shui were available during the day, I opted for Winter Melon with Longan Herbal in the end.

Mushroom Bean Curd Shanghai Noodle@ RM8.90

The noodles was quite nice and I found it special with the Japanese Toufu inside, which is my favourite~ ^^

Winter Melon with Longan Herbal

My colleague FT, she ordered Nissin Noodle with Ham, Egg & Sausage/餐旦肠出前一丁.As that was not a set lunch, she ordered cold ‘Ying Yong’ Tea with normal price.

Nissin Noodle with Ham, Egg & Sausage@ RM6.50

Ying Yong’ Tea@ RM2.80

The foods there are decent and price is affordable with RM10++ per person, which is considered standard for normal Char Chan Teng.
