Senjyu Sushi @ Cineleisure Damansara

It was a day that Pooi Mun and Zack helped me to take my last graduation photos in UM and after that we headed to Cineleisure Damansara to have our lunch. As I got the discount voucher from BestFoodJunction.com, we decided to go to Senjyu Sushi.

The Menu

I’m always having problem of choosing food and luckily Z always helps me to solve this =p

He opted for Saba & Sashimi Gozen. It is a set of grilled mackerel with salt, sashimi moriawase (salmon, tuna & sweet shrimp), salad, japanese steamed rice, steamed egg & miso soup. As normal, we add on one more bowl of rice to share.

Saba & Sashimi Gozen@ RM29.90

This Saba & Sashimi Gozen was quite satisfying and fresh~

Z and I couldn’t help ourselves to stop eating from this steamed egg cuz it was really soft, tasteful and yummy!

For Pooi Mun, she chose Salmon Ikura Don, which is a don with Salmon slices and salmon roe.

Salmon Ikura Don@ RM19.90

The don was worth as it was full with Salmon slices and roe! Besides, the salmon slices were fresh too.

Besides the main dishes, I also ordered two plates of sushi. One was Idako (seasoned baby octopus) and Kimchi, both are new!

Idako@ RM4.00

Kimchi Sushi@ RM2.00

That was my 1st time trying Kimchi Sushi, a cool combination of Korean and Japanese Food! =)

Pooi Mun & SP~ ^^

Overall, I like Senjyu Sushi, food is nice and price is reasonable for Japanese food~

Sakae Sushi@Sunway Pyramid

Thinking for dinner again..Still, v headed to Sunway Pyramid...
Japanese food is always the 1st choice for Zack and thus he brought me to Sakae Sushi...

Like this interior~

Menu

Our favourite appetizer~ @RM5.90

@RM1.90

@RM5.90

Hot Green Tea@ RM2.00

Zack's favourite

For main dishes, unagi is a must for Zack! Thus, he chose Unagi Kamameshi- River eel with shimeji mushroom & japanese omelete while Kamameshi is a traditional Japanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot.

Unagi Kamameshi@ RM17.90

Zack complaints the portion is too small for him =p

I seldom try Japanese noodles except Udon, thus I'd like to try out its Soba. Udon and Soba are noodles made from wheat flour and buckwheat which make a healthy meal. I ordered Tenzaru Cha Soba with assorted tempura.

Tenzaru Cha Soba@ RM16.90

The noodles are cold one and I think most of Malaysian would not use to the taste as we love hot and spicy food~ ^^

Tempura

I was quite disappointing with the tempura as it was a bit cold and it really couldn't satisfy me. Sigh...

Overall, the ambiance is nice, the food is good, just mayb there were too many customers and the service was not that good.

Capri Dessert@Sri Petaling

Again, I went to Sri Petaling to work and too bad that day I was alone and of course I took lunch alone. I had no idea where to lunch and found out this restaurant which provided set lunch.

Menu

I ordered its set lunch instead of dessert. I chose Otak Fried Rice and the set lunch came with a drink (Mango, Peach or Blackcurrant Tea)and fruits. This set lunch cost me RM9.90+.

Otak Fried Rice

The 'shape' of the fried rice is cute cuz it's a love shape! But I found that the portion was a bit small, the taste was ok.

Peach Tea

Fruits

My set lunch

Overall, I would not say it's good or bad but a common restaurant =)

Hong Kong Miu-Kai@Sri Petaling

This was my 1st time going to Sri Petaling due to work. During lunch time, my colleague brought me to Hong Kong Miu-Kai(香港庙街). I found the name a bit weird in the 1st place, if translated directly, it will be Hong Kong Temple Street and it has no related to food. However, it is more like to Hong Kong Char Chan Teng.

Menu

Interior

The ambience of restaurant is quite nice, I like its cozy feel and the staffs are friendly as well. As we rushed for working, we had to order something served fast.

There was a lunch promotion from 12.00pm to 2.00pm where you can add on drinks with RM1.50 or tong shui with RM2.00.

The choices for drinks & tong shui

I ordered Mushroom Bean Curd Shanghai Noodle. There is a choice for dry or soup and I chose the later. Due to not every tong shui were available during the day, I opted for Winter Melon with Longan Herbal in the end.

Mushroom Bean Curd Shanghai Noodle@ RM8.90

The noodles was quite nice and I found it special with the Japanese Toufu inside, which is my favourite~ ^^

Winter Melon with Longan Herbal

My colleague FT, she ordered Nissin Noodle with Ham, Egg & Sausage/餐旦肠出前一丁.As that was not a set lunch, she ordered cold ‘Ying Yong’ Tea with normal price.

Nissin Noodle with Ham, Egg & Sausage@ RM6.50

Ying Yong’ Tea@ RM2.80

The foods there are decent and price is affordable with RM10++ per person, which is considered standard for normal Char Chan Teng.
