Asam Laksa@ PappaRich

Yeah, I love to eat Asam Laksa. There was one time I tried the asam laksa at PappaRich, Three Two Square and I really love it. I went back to PappaRich again at Kota Damansara, hoping to taste the asam laksa.

Menu

I remember clearly that the Asam Laksa I ate at Three Two Square was full with fish but the one that I ate at Kota Damansara, the fish was smashed. The taste is ok but less ‘ohmm’ if compared with the branch at Three Two Square.

Pappa Asam Laksa@ RM8.90
- Thick rice noodles served in aromatic fish-based tamarind broth with shredded pineapple, lettuce, red chili, cucumber, onion, galangal, and lemongrass. Topped with shrimp paste and mint.

Hot Barley Lime@ RM3.50

Tang of House Fishball is famous for its own made fish noodle. I found a name of a dish which really attracted me -- Fried Fish Noodle and Chu Cheong Fun~!

I'd love to try it out~!

Restoran Ahwa@ Jalan 222, PJ

Restoran Ahwa is well-known for its Hokkien Mee, even its Chinese shop name is 新青山亚华福建面. It is located at Jalan 222, Section 14 and just right behind Shell Petrol Station. Thanks to Mark for bringing me there =)

You can see the Hokkien Mee is almost on every table in the coffee shop! We then ordered Hokkian Mee for 2 persons but too bad I was not really satisfied with the taste. =( Although many food blog also recommended the Hokkien Mee but for us, it was just a little bit too salty….

Hokkien Mee@ RM12.00 for 2 pax

Beside Hokkien Mee, Mark also recommended me Little Lim Penang Pancake in the coffee shop. The pancake is actually referring to 慢煎糕, but this is strictly not same as those you can find it at pasar malam. The ingredient inside is not just peanut and butter but there are lots of choices~!

Mark chose the pancake with Chocolate, Banana & Peanut and Egg, Ham & Mayonnaise.

Yummy pancakes~!! I love it~

Pancake with Chocolate, Banana & Peanut@ RM2.90

Pancake with Egg, Ham & Mayonnaise @ RM3.90

The taste of the pancake was special and the mixture is really tasted good~! Not only is the ingredient, the pancake itself also very soft. =)

I’d love to revisit for this Little Lim Penang Pancake~!

Delicious Nyonya@Tropicana City Mall

I was attracted by the outlook of this Nyonya restaurant when I was at Tropicana City Mall. The appearance is so cute, looks like a house with Nyonya decoration and there are few little cute paper umbrellas on the floor~ =)

Photo 1st b4 eating ^^

The interior – spacious & cosy~

The Menu

For appetizer, we ordered Pie-Tee, which is also known as ‘Top Hats’. It is a virtuous Nyonya munchies textured by crispy cases and mixed vegetables. I like this! Yummy~

Pie-Tee@ RM6.90

Okay, for main dishes, we ordered Kapitan Chicken & Asam Pedas Udang together with rice.

Kapitan Chicken@ RM13.90
- Classic Nyonya recipes, intensified by Lemongrass

One of the reasons I like this Kapitan Chicken is because the sauce is very rich. It was not really spicy, the chickens were soft too. Nice~!

Asam Pedas Udang @ RM16.90

I really love this dish, I could finish drinking all the asam pedas sauce~! It was superb~

Yummy dinner

Overall, I was satisfied with the food here, ambiance is nice and the service is good too. A bit pricey but I think it is worth for the quality of the food. =)

Another choice for you to dine in when you are at Tropicana City Mall.
