Kim Gary Restaurant@ Sunway Pyramid

Again, I went to Sunway Pyramid for lunch. This time was because I had GS practise and after that Melissa, Silvya, Zack n I went together for lunch. B4 this we went to Subway but Zack asked for 2nd round and we went to Kim Gary!

It was a Saturday and the restaurant was FULL HOUSE. We queued up for about 15mins only got our seats.

Menu

As normal, waiter would put menu and lots of set meals on the table but what really attracted me was the ‘order book’. It becomes easier for us to order as it shows clearly and it saves our time.

Neat & Clear

Zack ordered Supreme Beef Curry Baked with Swiss Cheese and it served with rice or spaghetti. There are 3 choices for curry which are Supreme,Pineapple and Coconut Milk Curry. Zack chose rice and Pineapple curry.

Supreme Beef Curry Baked with Swiss Cheese@ RM12.90

As Melissa n me were full already, we ordered some snack~

I’m a dessert lover so I wanna try out its ‘Hong Kong Snow Mountain’ (港式甜品刨冰). It was a hard decision for me to choose the flavor, Mango or Red Bean? I finally chose Red Bean Snow Mountain and it seemed like a wrong decision for me.

Red Bean Snow Mountain@ RM6.50

I love red bean but I was really disappointing with the snow mountain. There was only
ice and no taste at all if I finish all the red bean… A few jelly and corn were inside but it couldn’t make me satisfy.

Melissa ordered Ireland Crispy French Fries. There were lots of flavor too like red
pepper, curry, seaweed, minced beef sauce…. She ordered a Special Mix French Fries
but we really couldn’t find any special of it cuz it was really like a NORMAL french fries and it costs RM5.50!

Ireland Crispy French Fries- Special Mix@ RM5.50

After all the chili and tomato sauces.. by Melissa ^^

All the chili and tomato sauces that we used! (the french fries were really tasteless)

With Melissa~ =)

With Zack……..

I was not satisfy this time and I hope the next visit I’ll choose the right food~

Ccozi & Friends - The Street Cafe@ Sunway Pyramid

Two weeks ago, Sunway studio was not opened yet when me and Ah Kit reached there. We later together with Melissa decided to go to Sunway Pyramid to hunt for our dinner 1st. We discussed for quite a long time about where to eat and the final decision was Ccozi & Friends.

It is a Korean Street Cafe located at Asian Avenue, very near to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks. The outlet is rather small and it's a bit hard for a group of people to dine in there. It looks more like a stall and you can choose to sit at bar stools as well.

I like the menu cuz it's very attractive and there is a photo of each meal where u can hv a preview of what r u going to eat later. As the name stated-Street Cafe, the menu is full of lots of road signs and it's cute~

The Menu

Melissa ordered Vegetable Mixed Rice which came together with soup and Kimchi. According to her, she drank lots of water after taking the meal and she felt like mayb it's bcuz of too much of ajinomoto~

Vegetable Mixed Rice@ RM9.90

Soup & Kimchi

I always been told that Korean rice cake is very famous but I nvr try b4. So, I decided to take Korean Rice Cake in Chili Sauce with Noodle. Stated in the menu, The sauce is sweet and spicy and I chose the original one. After tasting it, I'd say the sauce is spicy + little bit of sweety. I do think that ppl who cannot eat spicy pls dun order cuz it's really spicy. However, I like it very much and the rice cake is not very sticky like Chinese rice cake.

Korean Rice Cake in Chili Sauce with Noodle(Original)@ RM10.90

Ah Kit also ordered same with me but he chose to add cheese on top. He couldn't finish it cuz he cant eat spicy and it was really like torturing to him..But the cheese did help him to ease the pain of spicy =p

Korean Rice Cake in Chili Sauce with Noodle(Cheese)@ RM11.90

Melissa and Ah Kit also ordered Grilled Chicken Bulgalbi in Teriyaki BBQ Chicken Sauce and Korean BBQ Chicken Sauce. The chicken sticks were really delicious and juicy!!

Grilled Chicken Bulgalbi (Teriyaki BBQ Chicken Sauce) @RM4.50

Grilled Chicken Bulgalbi (Korean BBQ Chicken Sauce) @RM4.50

For drinks, Melissa told us that the Korean Tea is not nice cuz it is tasteless but Ah Kit and me still ordered it. Haha, I think it's bcuz of cheap and free refill ^^ You hv to refill yourself but it's very convenient cuz you can see the tea containers are everywhere near to you. Korean Tea is actually called Oksusu Cha which is made from boiled roasted corn kernels. Frankly speaking, I do like the taste cuz it's refreshing.

I like the glass - "Please Refill Yourself"

Chili Espresso@ Sooka Sentral

Since working in PwC, we always go to Sooka Sentral food court to hv our lunch. However, due to that was a very special day for me, we decided to go Chili Espresso.

This was our 1st time visit and it was very crowded during lunch time. We hardly found a place to sit and started to go through the menu. It serves both local and western food but all of us chose to take western food that day.

The Menu

Sze Kiang ordered its set lunch which is Wrapped Cheese Chick Sausage with Baked Beans & Gherkins, Garden Salad and a glass of Iced Lemon Tea with a price of RM13.50.

Wrapped Cheese Chick Sausage with Baked Beans & Gherkins

The other 3 ordered the same food which was Colonial Chicken Chop. It came with tomato, peas, salad and fries. I tried a bit and it was actually not bad. I seldom eat chicken chop with tomato sauce but the taste is good.

Colonial Chicken Chop @RM13.50

As for me, I chose Chili Espresso Beef Burger and Fries. I’m always having problem of cutting burger but luckily the burger was not very large =)It was nice and yummy!

Chili Espresso Beef Burger and Fries @RM14.50
